CSS Calendar

First: We've updated our events calendar, much of which should be displayed on the right. We hope to do a better job of keeping this updated this quarter (though, by posting five events to it, we've already succeeded in that), and will probably add some more talks to it soon (i.e.: as we schedule them).

Casino Night

Casino Night, Science Council's annual fundraiser, is scheduled for January 31st. Tickets are $20 if you buy them ahead of time from us (which you should, because it gets us money, or recognition, or pimp canes or something), or $25 if you buy them at the door. From what I gather, they'll be having normal casino-type games, like blackjack, roulette, and craps. I for one wanted poker, but I don't know if they plan on having a poker table. If you want free tickets, you can go to yet another fundraiser on Friday, January 23rd, at JoJo's Pizza Kitchen. If you mention Science Council when making any order between 6:00pm and 10:30pm, 25% of the cost of what you order goes to Science Council. You also have the chance of winning 2 casino night tickets in a raffle. If you're not content to just give money to the Science Council in two ways, you can attend a spirit night on February 4, 2009 at the Chick-fil-a near here.
