The Science Council are fundraising at Golden Spoon in Walnut during the week of October 13th-October 17th. If you present a flyer when buying anything, 20% of your purchase will go to the Science Council. See one of the club officers if you'd like a flyer.

The NOBCChE conference is being held on October 10th and 11th in the BSC (Ursa Major A and B, if memory serves). The conference is sponsored by Association of Minority Science Students (AMSS) club. MythCrushers, an event put on by the Science and Multicultural councils, will occur at the same place on October 29th, 2008. Revenue from MythCrushers will be donated to the National Bone Marrow Donor Association. Finally, the 2008 Southern California Conference for Undergraduate Research (or SCCUR) is coming to Cal Poly on November 22nd, 2008. More details are available at the SCCUR website.
