Here are a few annoucements:
2/21 – Justin Towers will be giving a presentation about internships that his company is offering.
2/22 – Broomball with KME/Physics
3/7 – Prof. Siegel’s “Rolling Nature’s Dice” presentation
The broomball event will be held at 12:50 am (technically Saturday morning) for 2 hours at the Ontario Ice Rink. The address is: ‘1225 W Holt Blvd., Ontario, CS 91762‘. If you need a ride, please let us know in our faceboook group, we can possibly arrange something.
We also got an email from a student regarding our IRC channel. Yes, we have a channel on freenode, it is “#calpolycss”, please feel free to join us (ask hw questions, hang out, etc).
Also I’m trying to compile a list of useful resources for computer science majors. Here is the link. In a week or two, I will be creating a page with all these resources and a RSS widget on the side to display relevant CS news.
Another thing, I am still taking membership, so if you’d like to become a member, it is $20 and includes an ACM membership. Please email me or see me at our meetings.
